1. Information We Do Not Collect

When you download and use Koda: Puzzles, we do not require you to create an account, register an email address, or provide any personal information.

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses
• Precise or coarse geographical location data (GPS or IP geolocation)
• Persistent device identifiers for advertising (IDFA) or cross-app tracking
• Microphone audio, camera feeds, or contact lists
• Behavioral telemetry, screen recording sessions, or user profiling data

2. How Family Photos Are Handled

Koda lets families turn their own photos into wooden puzzles. We handle your family memories with absolute privacy:

• Apple System Photo Picker: Koda uses Apple’s modern system photo picker (PHPickerViewController). The app never requests broad or background access to your photo library. Koda only receives access to the single photo you explicitly select.
• 100% On-Device Vision Slicing: All photo cropping, wood grain overlay composition, piece interlocking generation, and edge-kerf etching happen entirely on your device’s Apple Neural Engine and GPU.
• Never Uploaded to the Cloud: Your photos are saved strictly in your device's private, sandboxed app container. They are never sent to remote servers, external APIs, or cloud storage buckets.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Koda is designed in full compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation for Children (GDPR-K), and Apple's strict "Made for Kids" App Store Review Guidelines (Guideline 1.3 & 5.1.1).

Because Koda does not collect any personal data from any user, we do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent).

There are no open communication channels, public chat rooms, multiplayer functions, or user profile creation mechanisms inside Koda.

4. Zero Third-Party Advertising & Tracking

Koda contains no third-party advertisements. There are no interstitial videos, banner advertisements, rewarded video ads, or sponsored popups.

We do not embed third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not prompt you for Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission because our app does not track users across other companies' apps or websites.

5. In-App Purchases (Apple StoreKit 2)

Koda offers an optional, one-time lifetime family pass to unlock all playroom shelf slots and unlimited custom puzzles.

• All transactions are processed directly by Apple via StoreKit 2.
• We never see, collect, or store your credit card details, billing address, or Apple ID credentials.
• The purchase interface is located exclusively inside the Grown-Up Corner, guarded by a deliberate hold-to-unlock parental gate to prevent accidental purchases by children.

6. Physical Wooden Keepsakes & Fulfillment

Parents may optionally choose to order a real physical wooden keepsake puzzle printed on FSC-certified birch plywood in an embossed collector tin.

• This feature is placed behind the parental gate and can only be accessed by an adult.
• When an order is submitted, the recipient's shipping address and the selected puzzle image are transmitted securely via encrypted HTTPS to our manufacturing partner (Prodigi Group) solely for print production and postal delivery.
• This data is used strictly to fulfill the physical order and is never sold, licensed, or utilized for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Since we do not operate a remote user account database, all your puzzle progress, custom wooden boards, and settings reside solely within your device's local sandbox storage.

You have full control over your data at all times:

• You can remove individual custom puzzles directly from the wooden shelf.
• Deleting the Koda app from your iPad or iPhone instantly and permanently removes all local puzzle files, sound cache, and preferences from your device.
